Each kit comes out the box ready to go and is fully functional. To make a good thing even better you can ad options such as snorkels, badges & scripts, flappers & actuators and decals.

    Shakers were available on Mustangs with most V-8 engines such as the Boss 302, 351C, 351W, 390, 428CJ. Shakers were never available on a standard 302 so you'll need to use the 351C unit. I offer four out of the five . I don't offer a 390 specific shaker because it is so close to the 428CJ. A 390 shaker base is about 3/8" taller than the 428CJ. That missing height can be made up with a thick carb gasket.

The only thing you'll need to do to your shaker is paint the steel air filter lid. The base and midplate are gelcoated in blue & black respectively and the scoop is semi-flat black with silver fins. No trimming, fitting or modifying is required.

Torino 1970-1971

 

 

The Torino shaker differs from the Mustang most noticeably at the scoop. The pointed scoop makes it a couple inches longer and very distinctive. My scoop is visually different from the factory unit due to the fact that I changed the way it mounts in the front . Instead of going from the top of the scoop down I use a stud on the bottom and smoothed the top off. This makes things simpler as there's no plug required to fill the hole. For this reason my Torino scoop won't work on a factory midplate.

    I offer two shakers for the Torino, the 351C (small block) and the 429SCJ (big block) .
